You better wear green, or else you will get pinched

My brother has started a little family tradition of getting together on St. Patrick's Day. We celebrate the day by wearing green attire, eating Irish soda bread and corn beef, and drinking until we were drunk. This year we even had leprechauns join in the fun.

We followed an old tradition of honoring those who have passed before us.

We surprised her with her late birthday gifts.

This picture just cracks me up! My God~Daughter is feverishly opening her gift, while her sister is eating something with much vigor.

She carried her gift around all evening long.

We ended the evening by burning a Christmas tree. That is an old tradition too! ;P

 

Mr. Leprechaun was checking out the fire to make sure it was adequate.

 

I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that leprechauns showed up to the party.
