Gold Mining, Soccer, and Pillowcases

Day 153

We went on a filed trip to a once active gold mine.
A family now owns the mine and has guided tours. 

We were given a ride on a train
similar to what the miners would have used.

They had a race to see who could fill there pail the fastest.
Little Squirt won.

They went gold mining. Afterwards they would weigh all their gold and get liquorice. Little Squirt was very disappointed because he thought they were "Really" going to gold mining. I think the liquorice made up for it ;)

I was so proud that they both tried the rope bridge.
 They are both afraid of heights and the bridge was really wiggly.

Later we had apple pie.

We made pillow cases.
