Vacation Part III
We made our way to St. Joseph Monastery to see my sister who lives behind a wall. * She is cloistered.* It had been over 2 years since we had seen each other. The minute we saw each other, we both burst into tears and hugged each other. I had missed her sooo much.

Since we w
ere given 2 days to visit with her, we were trying tell as many of our little stories as we could. One thing I found out was that she had grown another inch!!! What are they eating because I want some of that.
On our 2nd day visit, we were given a little surprise. Mother Dolores asked Papa if he could drive to the Cincinnati airport to pick up a visiting priest for her. Of course he said he would, but that meant he would miss out on the rest of his visit *and more dri
ving*. Then Mother surprised us and said that Sister could come with us to the airport!!! How exciting!!!!
The flight that the priest was on ended up being delayed a couple of hours. So we sat in the car and chatted. By the time we got all the luggage packed into the car, everyone was ravenous. So we stopped at Applebee's. It was neat to see the peoples expressions as they saw a "real nun" and a priest. Dinner was nice and the conversation was good.
Then we headed back to the monastery. It was late when we arrived and our good-byes were brief, because we thought we would be able to say good-bye in the morning. Well, the next morning I was informed that we might not get to see her. Bumbles almost broke out into tears. Then, because our Good Lord hears all our cries, we were able to see her and give her our last hugs and kisses.
Before we left, we had to buy some things from their gift shop. Low and behold, Sister was manning the gift shop that day. Bumbles bought a beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima and Little Squirt bought a Noah's Ark statue and a St. Michael statue (he liked him because of the sword). We said our final good-byes, made one last visit to Jesus and then were off to see another sister at Benedictine College.
